Pasadena has a thriving parks and recreation department that offer residents the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports, activities, and green spaces. Parks such as Southmore, and Ben Briar feature baseball fields, while Crenshaw Park is known for its fishing pond, a favorite for catfish and rainbow trout. There are three city swimming pools as well. Pasadena also is home to its own Historical Museum, Rodeo, and Philharmonic Orchestra.
